Biography:
António Neves is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Informatics of the University of Aveiro (DETI), and a researcher at the Institute of Electronics and Informatics Engineering of Aveiro (IEETA). He is the current Director of the undergraduate Course on Electrical and Computers Engineering, Director of the Integrated Master Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Vice-Director of the Master Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. During his career as a professor, he was involved several different courses, being the Coordinator Professor in several of them, in the areas of Informatics, Signal Processing, Electronics and Robotics. He participated in several research projects involving computer vision, signal processing, robotics, and intelligent systems.
