Biography:
Dr Resende teaches in the University of Aveiro, at the polytechnic School of Technology and Management at Águeda, in Portugal, and has been actively involved in European projects such as Erasmus +, Interreg and others (either as lead partner or PI or as a regular partner). His research interests include management of technology transfer (TT), cross-cultural studies in TT, innovation policies, and user centered innovation in open innovation paradigm. He is working in the definition of a new model for innovation ecosystems - I-Reefs (Innovation Reefs). He has finished his Post-Doc in 2014 at IC2 Institute - University of Texas at Austin, birthplace of the Innovation Reefs first definition and first approach for this type of innovation ecosystems. He is also member of the international editorial board of The Innovation and Technology Management Review, member of the Tech-Transfer Society, member of the University-Technology Enterprise Network (UTEN), Researcher at GOVCOPP Research Unit (Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policy) at University of Aveiro, member of the IAPMEI's National Network of Business Mentors, and was member of the FCT scoreboard for PhD Studentships in Industry (BDE).
