Students, researchers and professionals from the healthcare field, we have great news for you: The UT Austin Portugal Program and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra are teaming up again for another edition of the Online Advanced Course on Biomedical Imaging, after two successful editions in 2022 and 2023. Over the course of 12 sessions, starting on 4 April and running until 24 May, participants will have the opportunity to learn from a handful of renowned national and international experts.
These sessions will cover topics such as Optical Imaging, Conventional Radiology and Mammography, Optical and Confocal microscopy, or Ultrasonography: Applications and ultrasound contrast. The panel of speakers brings together experts from previous editions with new guests to give an overview of the latest research and technological advances in t imaging, enabling the use of new clinical diagnostic methods and medical treatments.
As in previous editions, the course accommodates sessions conducted by experts from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centre and the German Cancer Research Center invited by UT Austin Portugal and will showcase three research projects bearing the Program’s seals whose results show potential for expansion.
