The Research Exchange instrument enables the placement of researchers affiliated with Portuguese institutions in UT Austin’s ecosystem for short periods (between 2 up to 4 months).
In the third phase, this mobility arrangement supported the implementation of The Advanced Computing Training Program (ACTP), which ran from 2018 to 2019 at The Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) and in 2022 and 2023, of the Short-Term Research Internships Program, expanding to more sites on the campus.
