A call for tenders for the granting of a Research Scholarship is open, under the TOF-PET R&D project, financed by the European Regional Development Fund – ERDF, through the Lisbon 2020 Regional Operational Program LISBOA-01-0247-FEDER -045904.

Admission requirements:
Candidates must:
a) have a Bachelor or Master degree and be enrolled in a non-academic degree course integrated in the educational project of a higher education institution, developed in association or cooperation with one or more R&D units;
b) not exceed, with the conclusion of the scholarship contract in question (including possible renewals), an accumulated period of two years in this type of scholarship, consecutive or interpolated;
* Candidates who have obtained the degree abroad must have the degree recognized in Portugal, under the terms of Decree-Law No. 66/2018, of 16 August.
Work plan: The work plan is part of the TOF-PET project, and entails research activities in 3D cell models and evaluation of the effects of exposure to radiopharmaceuticals and external radiation.
Workplace: Work will be developed at the Center for Nuclear Science and Technologies (C2TN) of the Instituto Superior Técnico.
Duration of the scholarship: The non-renewable scholarship will have a duration of 12 months, starting in September 2020.
