Lance Manuel, professor at the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering in the Cockrell School of Engineering, The University of Texas at Austin and the PI of UT Austin Portugal Program 2019 Exploratory Research Project “SOS-Wind Energy”, was elected fellow of the AAAS, considered the largest general scientific society.
