After completing a degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Masters in Molecular Biomedicine, both at the University of Aveiro, Adriana realized what excited her most was transforming the complex information of scientific research into language that everyone can understand and disseminate to society. Since 2021 she moved from the lab bench to a Science Communication career, having held communication positions and founded a non-profit project that brings science closer to the population. She is currently working as a Communications Officer at the UT Austin Portugal Program, where she guarantees that all initiatives have the deserved dissemination, and thus enhance the communication of all the associated projects.
