Bio:
Inês Domingues graduated in Applied Mathematics in the School of Sciences at the University of Porto in 2004, completed a Masters degree in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering at Aveiro University in 2008 and finished the PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the School of Engineering at the University of Porto in 2015 (Cum Laude). She is currently a post doctoral researcher in the ESTIMA project, Member of the Medical Physics, Radiobiology and Radiation Protection Group, IPO Porto Research Centre (CI-IPOP) and an Invited Assistant Professor at DEIS-ISEC.She is an Associate Editor of IEEE Access, IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, and Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering: Imaging & Visualization; and a member of APRP (Associação Portuguesa de Reconhecimento de Padrões).Her research interests include Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, and Image Processing for Biomedical Applications, with special focus on Cancer.
