    Bio:

Leonardo Azevedo is an assistant professor at Instituto Superior Técnico (University of Lisbon) and researcher at CERENA. He got his Ph.D. in 2013 on Georesources from Instituto Superior Técnico during which he was a visiting student at Stanford and Heriot-Watt Universities. His main research interests are related to the development and implementation of new geophysical inverse methods for subsurface modelling and characterization. Joint inversion of multiple sources data. Uncertainty quantification in inverse problems. He is part of the editorial board for GEOPHYSICS and Computers & Geosciences.
