M.Sc. in mathematics (University of Rennes, France), Ph.D. in Mathematics (EPFL, Switzerland), auxiliary professor in Blaise Pascal University, Associate Professor in Toulouse University, full professor in Minho University. Stéphane Clain is a staff member of the Mathematics Department at the School of Science of Minho University in Portugal. He has publications devoted to mathematical modeling and numerical methods, more specifically in finite volume techniques. He recently works on Machine Learning methods. Over 80 publications in international journals.
